Alicia Elliott is a Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist (PMHCNS) providing medication management, psychiatric evaluations and diagnoses. Alicia earned her BSN at University of St Francis and her MSN at IUPUI. She has experience working with adult and geriatric psychiatric patients on an inpatient, outpatient, and emergent basis. She provided psychiatric consultation on medical units. She has taught at University of St Francis and remains a guest lecturer there. Alicia believes in a shared relationship with patients, empowering them and encouraging them to make the best decisions to promote emotional wellness while offering medication to help with treatment. Alicia will brainstorm ideas with you, educate you about the risks of benefits of recommended treatment, and put you in the driver's seat for the final decision. She is board certified by the ANCC. Her collaborator is Dr Steven Schneider.
