Elizabeth is a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner for over 7 years and found a special interest in mental health. An opportunity to work with Dr. Steven Schneider, esteemed psychiatrist in Fort Wayne, IN led Elizabeth to attend Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN to obtain postgraduate training in psychiatry and board certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Elizabeth treats general psychiatry with a special interest in autism, dementia and intellectual disabilities. Trained through the nursing model, Elizabeth has a particular passion for treating the whole person and encompassing a comprehensive approach for best quality of life for each person she is privileged to work with.
