Hillary is a licensed mental health counselor and nationally certified counselor. She completed her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Huntington University. Her internship experiences include time in Parkview Behavior Health’s intensive outpatient group therapy as well as in a university counseling center. Most recently, she has worked in outpatient counseling, working with adolescents, adults and geriatrics. Her areas of specialty include: trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, stress management, crisis stabilization, identity, relational issues, family of origin issues, and self-acceptance. Hillary is an EMDR-trained therapist who uses a combination approach of Internal Family Systems, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Psychoeducation. She is passionate about engaging clients through a curious, compassionate and non-shaming therapeutic approach.
